Watch this video first - Here you will get a general overview of what types of equipment make up your SmartHome System.
iPad - Homescreen, Apps, & Navigation
The iPad will serve as the main control device for your SmartHome. Additionally, it will give you access to a wide variety of tools and content. This video will help get you started with your iPad.
Siri - HomePod & iPad
You will be able to control some of your devices by voice, using Siri, your virtual assistant. You can also ask Siri to tell you the weather, play the news, or even your favorite talk show or podcast. Learn more about how Siri and voice commands work in this video.
Home App - Introduction & Overview
The Home app is an easy, centralized portal to control your smart devices. This video will show you how to open the Home app and what the different sections and uses are.
Hubitat App
The Hubitat App will allow you to control your smart light bulbs and smart electrical outlet. This video will show you how to operate these devices, as well as how to adjust the brightness of your lights.
App Catalog
There are many helpful apps that you can use on your iPad. This video will introduce you to your App Catalog, a special curated list of free apps that you might find useful - including magnifiers, maps, weather, video calling (for seeing friends and family), games, and more.
Door Lock
Your smart door lock will allow you to automatically lock and unlock your door. This video will introduce you to the different ways to use your Level smart door lock.
Video Doorbell
Your video doorbell will allow you to see and speak to whoever comes to your door. This video will show you how it works when someone comes to your door and what to expect.
Thermostat - Introduction, Home App, & Siri
Your smart thermostat will make it easy to control your temperature. This video will introduce you to the Ecobee thermostat, including how to control it by voice command.
Thermostat - Controlling on Device
Your smart thermostat can be easily controlled through the built-in full color touchscreen. This video will show you how to quickly and easily adjust temperature or change modes, directly on the wall unit.
Lights and Outlets - Smart Switches
Smart light bulbs and a smart electrical outlet can be easily controlled by a compact, wireless button on the wall. Multiple lamps can all be turned on or off together, with a single click, without trying to access hard-to-reach lamp switches or walking through dark areas.
Home App - Automations & Scenes
Once you become comfortable with the basics, the Home app offers a variety different customizations to automate actions or group actions together. This video will introduce you to 2 of these customization options - Automations and Scenes.
